Senior Portrait Posing – The Woodlands Photographer Posing Expert
This is a BIG fear that many seniors face before their shoot. Worrying about the best ways to pose is something that I completely take off your plate! Its my job as the professional that you have hired, to help you pose in the most interesting, flattering and best ways for YOU. I have worked hard over years and years to research, learn and experiment with posing so that I know how to capture you at your very best!
That said, if you take a little time to practice some of the things below, your session with me will go even BETTER.
When posing for your photos, it is essential to focus on your posture and expression. We want to project confidence, we want to project ease and happiness. You can do that by remembering to stand tall, elongate your neck, and relax your shoulders to appear confident and poised. Just remember angles are your best friend. Sometimes Ill direct you to face the camera head on, but often by positioning your body slightly at an angle to the camera it will create a more flattering look. Experiment with different facial expressions to convey the desired mood or emotion in the mirror at home. Yes this can feel a bit silly but knowing how your face FEELS and also how it LOOKS can go a long way towards capturing you at your best.
The best advice I have for you and posing for your session is to book with me and let me guide you through the whole process!
